  5. I actually broke out of my trend and did 1000yds today. After 18 straight days I see improvement in my stroke and conditioning, but wow do I have a long way to go.

  7. I did the opp. of what Dave did, I went down and only did 900 at the Visser this morning.

    I’m fighting something in my lungs. Skipped the run last Saturday and Monday night, last night I cut the run from 5 to 3 because I just can’t get a good breath.
    It’s slowing me down in the pool too but damn it, it’s not going to stop me from finishing this thing.

    Amy: I have been doing something a little weird, but it is the first year my hair is NOT straw. I’ve been wetting my hair down before the swim, and then spraying it with a mix of palm kernel oil, sunflower seed oil and vitamin E (oil). Straight oil. Then I swim. I make sure to shampoo and condition right after I get out of the pool (not wait until I get home). My hair is not in any kind of distress this year. It is not oily or greasy either. I highly recommend.

  11. 1200 yards at DDHY. I did it in the 20 yard pool so more flip turns and pushing of walls. I sprained my wrist playing water polo last weekend so i’m doing minimal easy yards till it feels better.

  15. We had water polo practice last night. I did a 300 yards warm up and then we basically scrimaged all night… I would say I swam 1200 at the absolute minimum.
